Secure shopping. When you place an order with us using your credit or debit card, it is done via a secure encrypted server SSL (Secure Socket Layers). This is the standard technology used throughout the internet for secure data transmission.

Ordering. When ordering online, payments can be made by credit or debit card and are processed via PayPal. You do not need to have or create a PayPal account. If you do have a PayPal account, you can also pay from that account by logging in to PayPal during the checkout process. Apart from online ordering via this website, you can also order by telephone (07814 284370) and either pay by debit/credit card over the phone or send a cheque payable to C.E. Elliott for the total amount of your order. Products can then be posted to you or collected at an event - see "Where to find us".

Weights. All the weights shown on this website are approximate and are included to enable post and packaging charges to be automatically calculated. As all our products are handmade, the weight of any individual product will vary. Our prices are based on a cost per unit, not based on weight.

Packaging. We wrap all our soap and shampoo products for health and hygiene reasons using cellophane which, contrary to popular belief, is not plastic but a thin, transparent sheet made of thin organic cellulose, known as plant fibres. Cellophane is biodegradable and compostable if scrunched up. 

Delivery times. We aim to despatch goods within 2-3 working days of receiving payment. If payment is made by cheque, goods will be despatched once a time allowance has been made for clearance of the cheque. In the very unlikely event of an item you have ordered being out of stock, we will contact you to inform you of the delay. Alternatively, we will offer an alternative product.
